Lead Software Engineer

Job Description

Oak Street Technologies is seeking to hire a skilled software developer to help with the development of our current and new projects. One who can lead the team of software engineers, coordinate with solution/software architect to implement the best software practices with in team. Duties will include but are not limited to developing, leading software system validation and testing methods, as well as leading our software programming initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and leading software system validation and testing methods.
  • Must be able to review to code with respect to code optimization.
  • Managing the software development lifecycle in sprint structure.
  • Monitoring system performance and take necessary measures to improve the performance.
  • Communicating key project data to team members and building cohesion among team.
  • Review the requirement document and give feedback from technical perspective.
  • Testing software and fixing bugs with team.
  • Responsible for getting work done on time from the team.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or another related field.
  • 4 to 7 years hands on experience of software development.
  • Hands-on programming experience with .Net Core .Net, Angular, Java Script, Ajax, jQuery & React JS.
  • Hands on experience on micro services and web API’s.
  • Strong hands-on experience required on Database (MS SQL) for this job as you will be the responsible for writing different scripts being used in software products.
  • Strong Knowledge of (PostgreSQL & MySQL) database would be a plus.
  • Hands-on deployment experience on AWS would be a plus.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing the software development life cycle using agile methodology.
  • Strong team building skills required and must know how to serve as a leader to team.
